done!

I feel like I can stop painting this one now.  I'm fairly pleased with the end results and learned a few things along the way, oils are tricky-tricky.  So it's back to the drawing board for the next one...here goes nothing.

Almost finished (I think)

I fleshed out the background a little more and did some other touching up.  Now it's drying time and once that's done I'll go back in and fine-tune with a little more detail.  Fun times so far!

I haven't painted for about a month which is just too damn long.  I found this cool photo so I drew it out and this is where I'm at currently...I'll keep you updated on the status and go to town with the oils, it's pretty exciting to be back at it!

Here's some of the pieces that are currently up at the show...I can't wait to dive back in and start painting again...I just noticed the background colors are quite dominant in most of these...that's interesting:)
