Storyboarding class wrap-up

The last few weeks of MacLeod's storyboarding class have been all about boarding a short scene.  So this post will serve to sum it all up since the last update.  The scene itself is a baseball story I wrote  called "Out of Left Field" and it features a little boy having an a"argument" with an outfielder .  I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out and the feedback I got from Steven was mostly positive, so if I polish it up a little more I think I've got a decent portfolio piece.

With the class about a week away from being wrapped up I'm a little sad that it's over.  But now the game plan is to board the crap out of some stories and make a kick ass portfolio, so it's nice having more time to pour into that.

And if you stumbled upon this blog looking for reviews of Steven's CGMA storyboarding class, I give it the highest possible recommendation.  The video lectures are great (I filled an entire notebook with everything we covered!) and Q & A's are just as informative.  It's crazy how much is covered in just 2 short months.  So, yeah, take the class, goshdarnit!
